The late J.J Cale is set to be inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall Of Fame at the Cain’s Ballroom in Tulsa on November 1st.

Already the subject of a tribute record headed up by Eric Clapton, Cale will join fellow "Tulsa Sound" stars Elvin Bishop, Jim Keltner, Chuck Blackwell and Lowell Fulson (who like Cale will receive a posthumous induction).

The ceremony will feature performances from many of Cale's friends and past collaborators.

Tickets for the 2014 event go on sale to OMHOF members on Friday, August 8 and will be available to the general public on Friday, August 15, and can be purchased via www.cainsballroom.com

Eric Clapton's JJ Cale tribute album, entitled, “Eric Clapton & Friends: The Breeze, An Appreciation of JJ Cale” will also feature drummer and fellow inductee, James Lee "Jim" Keltner.
