Jackson Guitars need no introduction, being thechoice of axe for top names like Randy Rhoads,Mark Morton (Lamb of God),Corey Beaulieu (Trivium) andAdrian Smith (Iron Maiden), fromthe Kelly to their Soloist, these are synonymous with the rock andmetal genre, and for good reason.

Jackson have added 11 top of the line axes to its 2012catalogue. Each one carefully designed to exceed metal players'high performance needs.

The line includes eight new Soloist arch tops (known as SLATguitars), four extended scale seven string models, two limitededition Kelly models and a new signature model for Machine Headaxeman Phil Demmel.

Also new to the X series are the Limited Edition KEXMG andKEXTMG Kelly models. Available in Transparent Black and Black withWhite Bevels, the KEXMG Kelly features a basswood body (quilt mapletop on trans finishes), three-piece through-body maple neck,compound-radius bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets andclassic Jackson Shark Fin inlays, EMG® 81 (bridge) and 85 (neck)pickups, and a Floyd Rose Special bridge.

The Limited Edition KEXTMG Kelly, available in Matte Black andTobacco Sunburst, offers the same features as the Limited EditionKEXMG, minus the Floyd Rose Special bridge which is replaced by astring-through-body Tone Pros Tune-O-Matic bridge.

And last but certainly not least is the PDX-2 Demmelition King Vartist signature model honouring Machine Head guitarist and masterof shred Phil Demmel. Built to Demmel's exact specifications, theupgraded PDX-2 now features a three-piece through-body maple neck,EMG HZ pickups, Floyd Rose® Special bridge, 24 jumbo frets, boundcompound-radius, rosewood fingerboard with Shark Fin inlays, twovolume controls and a three-way blade pickup selector switch.
