Harman's DigiTech Releases Unplugged Acoustic Simulatorfor iStomp

The Unplugged Acoustic Simulator takes your electric guitarsignal and transforms it into an acoustic. It also includes qualitybuilt-in Lexicon Hall reverb to add richness and body to theacoustic guitar sound.

Press Release- Harman's DigiTech is celebrating "Stomp-tember2012" with the release of its new Unplugged Acoustic Simulator forthe iStomp downloadable stompbox. The Unplugged Acoustic Simulatortransforms an electric guitar to sound like an acoustic guitar, andincludes built-in Lexicon Hall reverb to add fullness and presenceto the acoustic guitar sound.

The Unplugged Acoustic Simulator uses proprietaryHarman-developed DSP algorithms to analyze and process the inputfrom an electric guitar and transform it into the sonic signatureof an acoustic guitar, with all of its distinctive acoustictimbres, harmonic complexity and dynamic responsiveness. Theacoustic ambience can be further enhanced by dialing in thee-pedal's Lexicon Hall reverb - the classic lush, expansive reverbheard on thousands of recordings. Adding to its sonic spaciousness,the Unplugged Acoustic Simulator features true stereo inputs andoutputs. Its controls include LOW EQ, HIGH EQ, REVERB (reverblevel) and LEVEL (effect level).

The DigiTech iStomp is an entirely new concept in guitarstompboxes that allows musicians to turn the iStomp into any pedalin the Stomp Shop online pedal store. Offering almost limitlesssonic possibilities, the iStomp connects to an Apple iOS devicewhere musicians can use the Stomp Shop app to load it with thee-pedal of their choice. The Stomp Shop is a free app and comeswith two of the most popular requested pedals, the DigiTech TotalRecall Delay and the DigiTech Redline Overdrive. It gives access tomore than 30 additional pedals that musicians can browse, try outand purchase, with more pedals added every month.

 

The DigiTech Unplugged Acoustic Simulator e-pedal will beavailable in September 2012 at an introductory price of $0.99. Thisintroductory price will run through September 31, 2012. After theintroductory period the price will change to $7.99.
