Designed in conjunction with Parker Lundgren, best known for his role as one half of Queensryche's progressive metal signature twin guitar sound, the fixed neck Fret-King Exige 'PL' has an edgy profile with a classic twist, exudes power and is built for speed.

With its unique offset body, asymmetric horns and sloping heel the Exige has superb neutral balance and supreme upper fret access. The signature Fret-King forearm scoop and 'T-Cut' make this guitar both practical and comfortable.

'Player friendly' and perfect for the fastest and most technical of solos, this is a guitar with the performance to match its outstanding looks and is guaranteed to stand out on the largest of stages.

The power of the Exige comes from its three custom designed double coil HHB3's. These medium-high output pickups, designed by Trev wilkinson especially for the Exige 'PL' can segue between an ethereal, yet full and transparent clarity, to the almost mythically enhanced high end distortion of the very best of the early double coil pickups.

Managing all of his tonal power to produce a huge palette of voices is a standard three way toggle switch, common volume control perfectly placed for 'violining', common tone control and Fret-King's unique Vari-coilâ„¢, which progressively rolls whichever of the pickups is in use, from double coil to single coil, with the ergonomic control layout rounded off by a separate volume control for just the middle pickup.

Tonally, the Exige lets you move seamlessly from bridge single coil, to neck double coil, to neck and bridge single coil split, to bridge double coil, to twin double coil, for massive versatility, then dial in that middle pickup for the ultimate in high output heaven.

Screaming metal tones? Mellow jazz chords? Subtle blues? Country twang? The Exige really can do it all!

An easily controllable tone monster the Exige 'PL' is a future classic truly built on solid rock foundations.
