Fender Unveils Three Additional Acoustic Models

Fender has announced three additional summer models to theiracoustic range. The CJ-290S Jumbo Flame Maple acoustic guitar,CJ-290SCE-12 Jumbo Flame Maple 12-string acoustic model and theMino'Aka CE Concert ukulele.

The latest three models join the other six recently releasedguitars to make up Fender's new range of acoustic intruments for2012 catering for all tastes and budgets.

CJ290SJumbo Flame Maple

Acoustic purists are sure to appreciatethe CJ-290S. Previously available as anacoustic-electric cutaway model (the CJ-290SCE), the CJ-290S comesin a pure acoustic version with elegant flame maple back and sides,offering a grand sound with booming response, great balance andprojection. Premium features include a solid spruce top withquartersawn scalloped X bracing, tortoiseshell pickguard andabalone rosette, Ivoroide binding, maple neck with dual-actiontruss rod, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with smaller (3 mm) dotinlays, compensated rosewood bridge with bone saddle andabalone-dot black pins, gold hardware and factory-mounted forwardstrap button with internal block reinforcement.

The CJ-290SCE-12  delivers a rich andbold sound with tons of bottom end and remarkable resonance.Features include flame maple back and sides, a solid spruce topwith quartersawn scalloped X bracing, tortoise shell pickguard andabalone rosette, Ivoroid binding, maple neck with dual-action trussrod, 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with 3 mm dot inlays, compensatedrosewood bridge with bone saddle and abalone-dot black pins, goldhardware, factory-mounted forward strap button with internal blockreinforcement, and Fishman® preamp/pickup system with built-in tuner.

Mino Aka Koa CEConcert

Fender's delightful concert ukulele,the Mino'Aka  (Hawaiian for "smile"),now has a cutaway and onboard electronics so you can plug into yourfavorite amp and strum the South Sea nights away. Features includean all-koa body for lilting uke tone, aged body and fretboardbinding, elegant acrylic abalone rosette, three-piece mahogany neckwith Telecaster®-style headstock, 19-fret rosewoodfingerboard, high-gloss finish, Fishman®  Kulapreamp/pickup system with built-in tuner, and Aquila® Nylagutstrings.
