Fender Celebrates Grand Opening of First-Ever CustomShop Showroom in Latin America -

Fender's 'Dream Factory' celebrated the grand opening of itsfirst-ever Custom Shop showroom in Latin America on Dec. 4 inMexico City.

The showroom, independently owned and operated by music storeHolocausto Music, is located on the rooftop of the store's buildingand overlooks stunning views of skyscrapers, historic buildings andhigh-rise rooftops in Mexico City's historic center.

"Opening a showroom in Mexico City is a step closer to ourgoal of having the finest instruments available to internationalconsumers and artists," said Fender Custom Shop Director ofMarketing Mike Eldred. "It joins four other Fender Custom ShopShowrooms in the world, including Germany, Italy, Tokyo, andKorea."

Artists such as singer-songwriter Mijares, pop-punk bandAllison, and members of rock band Moderatto, Fobia and Caifanesgraced the grand opening with their presence.
