Eric Clapton Cancels Two European Concert Dates-

Eric Clapton has been forced to cancel twoconcert dates after suffering severe back pain.

The guitar icon is reportedly receiving medical attention afterhe was forced to cancel dates in both Austria and Germany this week. However it is still unsure whether he'll beappearing for his next scheduled date in Germany this Friday.

A statement says: 

"He is currently with specialists who will be able to betterdetermine the course of treatment. He was looking forward to theseconcerts and regrets that he is not to be able to perform for thefans. He would like to apologise for any inconveniences thesecancellations may cause and would like to thank the fans for theirunderstanding."

 Clapton is currently on the road to support his latestalbum, 'Old Sock.'
