A host of Elvis Presley artefacts including a Martin D-28 guitar will go to auction next month.

Asides from the acoustic guitar other items include a 1976 Cadillac Seville car as well as personal copy of the original script for Love Me Tender.

The very the first "Auction at Graceland " will take place at Graceland and online on August 24th.

However, despite the name none of the items for sale will actually come from the Graceland archives, which are owned by Lisa Marie Presley. Instead, the memorabilia will come from various third parties.

Also available is the contract for Elvis' string of Las Vegas shows in 1969, a diamond and gold lion mask pendant and his very first signature which was penned on an early school library card.

A shortlist of the items can be viewed online, with the full listings and images being released at the start of August.
