Dave Ellefson Donates Bass Strings to 'Wear Your MusicOrganization' -

A new charity initiative in aid of the MusiCares organizationhas been backed and given the full support ofMegadeth founding bassist DaveEllefson.

The 'Wear Your Music Organization' is the brainchild ofSteve Bernstein and HannaGarrison and the 'Wear Your Music ArtistBracelet' concept encourages the world's biggest musicians,such as Eric Clapton, Steve Vai,Bonnie Raitt, Johnny Lang and nowDave Eleffson, to donate their guitar strings tothe company in order to craft unique bangle-style bracelets.

The bracelets are made available to purchase from the 'WearYour Musicwebsite with 100% ofprofits going to the charity of the artists choice. In keeping withthe company's eco-friendly attitudes, all bracelets bear theartist's initials stamped on 99.9% pure silver and are packaged inrecycled DVD cases donated by Washington-based Greendisk.
