Danelectro Reissue Longhorn Guitar and Bass Models

(PRESS RELEASE): Purveyors of vintage tone since 1947, iconic guitar brand Danelectro have re-released their classic Longhorn model, with new six string guitar and bass versions.

Based on the original 1950’s design including the legendary dual lipstick pickup set-up for that unmistakable Danelectro tone, the Longhorn Guitar (DLG58BK UK RRP £499) comes complete with fully adjustable bridge, stacked volume/tone controls and is finished in glorious Copperburst.

For those four-string aficionados ,Danelectro have also added an all-Black finish to join its ever-popular Copperburst short-scale bass model.  The new Longhorn Bass (DL58BK UK RRP £499) has that same quirky 1958 classic body shape and features a traditional bridge with rosewood saddle, two lipstick pickups for twangy Dano tone with stacked individual volume/tone control, and a 24 fret fingerboard.
