With the introduction of the GA-QF acoustic-electric guitar, Cort Guitars adds an elegant aesthetic to the popular Grand Regal Series. With striking workmanship on the series-signature Grand Auditorium body, the GA-QF offers multiple luxurious features without the fancy price tag.

When players first encounter the GA-QF, their eyes are drawn immediately to the highly figured maple top, available in Trans Black Burst or Coral Blue Burst finishes. They’ll also note the special design of the fingerboard inlay on the merbau fretboard, specifically designed for the overall aesthetics of this model. An abalone rosette completes the high-end look. Just as much thought and detail was put into the strength and playability of the chosen materials. The maple top contributes to this model’s unique sonic character, which is bright and tight with a

strong focused projection that complements the strong, warm midrange of the mahogany back and sides.

Like other models in the Grand Regal Series, the GA-QF was carefully designed for playability. The grand auditorium body with Venetian cutaway is sized perfectly between the large dreadnought and the more intimate grand concert models. This makes the Grand Regal ideal for both strumming/flatpicking and for fingerstyle playing. The Fishman Isys T preamp system features a LED tuner and phase control, along with a Sonicore pickup, will relay all the acosutic tones naturally and organically.

Also enhancing the GA-QF’s playability is the 45 mm Graph Tech NuBone XB nut and saddle, specially formulated to produce more bass harmonics. Manufactured under high heat and pressure, NuBone XB is strong, durable and consistent throughout to ensure superior vibration transfer. The dovetail neck joint reinforces the vibrational transfer, while diecast machine heads provide tuning stability.

Cort’s Grand Regal Series offers acoustic-electric guitars for versatile players who prefer to have one guitar capable of covering a variety of sounds and styles. The feature-packed GA-QF is an ideal addition for players to want to enjoy that versatility with some frills, at a surprisingly affordable street price of $299.99.
