Cort has announced 7 new models for Bass players at NAMM show. Like the electric guitars announced, the new bass collection demonstrates Cort’s attention to detail and ability to deliver a very well specc-ed, high quality instrument, yet still deliver great value to the customer.

Headlining the new Bass collection is the GB74Gig, which features Humbucker, J-style single-coil and P-style split-coil pickups for powerful through to smooth tone. The unique bridge pickup delivers meaty and growling humbucker sounds as well as clear and open single-coil sounds with the 3-way toggle that allows the player to choose either coil or both and the pickup balancer knob provides further versatility to choose or mix in the split-coil P-style neck pickup for ever greater tonal versatility. Fitted with an Omega Bass® bridge and Passive Tone control is also included to make this a ‘complete’ instrument, in Lake Placid Blue finish.

A new addition to the B4 Plus AS line-up is the ‘RM’ version, featuring an open pore finish body with three colours ideally suited for this type of finish as well as Roasted Maple fingerboard for a brighter and punchier sound. The three new finishes are Aqua Blue, Burgundy Red and Trans Black. The open pore body finish and the Roasted Maple finger-board provide a natural feel to the touch as well as enhancing the tone with a more open and organic sound. 5-String versions are also available.

Three-color options - Blood Red Metallic, Tasman Light Blue and Black, with pearlescent content also provides more for players to choose from to get the look they desire at an affordable price point. 5-Strings versions also available.
