A wide array of Audio-Technica products are to make their Prolight + Sound debut at this year’s MusikMesse event between 5-8 April.

From instrument microphones to in-ear monitors and conference system solutions, all will be on display at the Audio-Technica stand (Hall 4, stand C23).

ATM230 Hypercardioid Dynamic Instrument Microphone

The ATM230 brings a model that’s ideal for capturing drums and percussion to Audio-Technica’s popular Artist Series line. The mic’s proprietary capsule is designed to excel in high SPL applications, delivering full, well-rounded audio with an exceptional low-end. The hypercardioid polar pattern reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of desired sound source – directionality that is aided by the mic’s low-profile design, which allows it to be placed in a wide variety of set-ups. The ATM230 is perfectly suited for miking toms, snare and other percussion instruments and is available both individually and as a set of three.

E40, E50 and E70 In-ear Monitor Headphones

Bringing the critically-acclaimed sonic signature of the M-Series to an in-ear design, the E40, E50 and E70 models have been designed to fully answer the needs of demanding sound professionals and musicians from the studio, to the stage, to the DJ booth. The headphones are compatible with Audio-Technica’s popular M3 in-ear monitor wireless systems – together offering a comprehensive in-ear monitoring solution from Audio-Technica.

System 10 Wireless Microphone Desk Stand Transmitter and Boundary Mic/Transmitter

Designed to work with phantom-powered, condenser gooseneck microphones with a 3-pin XLRM-type output, the ATW-T1007 System 10 microphone desk stand transmitter pairs with the System 10 PRO or System 10 digital wireless receiver of choice to provide rock-solid, 2.4GHz wireless performance. The transmitter is equipped with a 3-pin XLRF-type input and features a touch-sensitive user switch that can toggle between talk and mute modes, or function as a press-to-talk or press-to-mute button.

A perfect fit for conference rooms and other meeting spaces, the ATW-T1006 System 10 boundary microphone/transmitter likewise pairs with any System 10 PRO or System 10 digital wireless receiver. This cardioid condenser boundary mic is also equipped with a touch-sensitive user switch that can toggle between talk and mute modes, or function as a press-to-talk or press-to-mute button.

Both units feature two red/green LEDs – one visible from the front of the unit, the other from the rear – indicate toggle/talk/mute mode, battery level and charging status. The new models also offer three levels of input gain (-6dB, 0dB and +6dB) and low-cut filter switch.

ATUC-50 Digital Discussion System

A ‘new-generation’ conference solution, the ATUC-50 is designed for simple operation and plug-and-play functionality, with no sacrifice in terms of sound quality or speech intelligibility. And its cost-effective nature belies the system’s power and flexibility, with multi mode operation, 12-band feedback suppressor, on-board four-channel recorder and translation channel all featuring in the ATUC-50’s specification. A choice of two gooseneck lengths with the ATUC-M43H (430mm) and ATUC-M58H (580mm) microphones also allows for real flexibility in terms of positioning.

Employing standard Cat5 (and above) cables, up to 150 ATUC-50DU discussion units can be connected in either daisy chain or ring topology (for added redundancy) and controlled from any web browser with no need for additional software installation. Configuration via Web Remote Control is simple and quick, with settings able to be stored as presets for easy recall.

The user-friendly design of the ATUC-50 and its unrivalled sound quality makes it ideal for applications throughout the corporate sector, from boardrooms and meeting rooms to multilingual conference settings, houses of worship and more.
