Artists for the 2017 Nevis Blues Festival Announced

Soul-blues funkster AJ Ghent (USA), multi-instrumentalist Deanna Bogart (USA) and boogie-woogie pianist Ben Waters (UK) are among the artistes who will be playing at the 2017 Nevis Blues Festival. Joining them will be several artistes returning by popular demand: Nevis’ own blues-to-gospel diva Denise Gordon; Britain’s most award-decorated bluesman Ian Siegal; and uber blues-rock guitarist Simon McBride.

Nevis Blues Festival (dubbed "Blues in Paradise") enters its third year with a string of accolades and a firm place on the calendar of music festivals in the Caribbean. Its location alongside Oualie Beach on the island’s Caribbean coastline must rank it among the world's most exotic and romantic blues festivals.

Staged at night, capacity is limited to just 1000 people, a deliberate move by the organisers to keep a relaxed intimacy that allows all ages to enjoy the bars, catering and world-class music.
