Anthrax Announce Partial Track-Listing for Rock CoversEP -

Anthrax recently announced they'll be releasing acollection of classic rock covers as part of a revamped edition oftheir acclaimed 2011 album 'WorshipMusic.' 

The tracks announced to feature on the collection so far areRush's 'Anthem,'Journey's 'Keep On Runnin,' ThinLizzy classic 'Jailbreak,'AC/DC's 'TNT' and CheapTrick's 'Big Eyes.'

On the project Anthrax guitarist ScottIan told Billboard ( Ultimate Classic Rock):

"It was a lot of fun, especially because a lot of those(songs) aren't, I guess, normal for us or like so much of ourrepertoire - although they are because they're songs we all knew.Maybe on paper the idea of us doing something like that seemsweird, until you hear them and then it makes sense."

In related news Anthrax have recently been toutedto headline this year's 'Metal Alliance Tour' withExodus beginning 23rd March (2013).
