The Amptweaker Jr. Distortion series has been expanded to include bass versions.

Introducing the Bass TightDrive Jr, Bass TightRock Jr, and Bass TightMetal Jr. Each mini Phase 90-sized pedal has the same features as its guitar counterparts, with the tone and tight controls shifted down an octave for bass or extended-range guitars. Amptweaker’s dry low blend knob is also included—a very popular feature from the Bass TightFuzz, which helps maintain the low end while allowing the distortion to be chunky and tight.

The 3-position tight switch (fat/normal/tight) dials in the attack of the notes from thick and heavy to aggressive and chunky. An EQ switch similarly provides plexi (thrash on TMJR)/normal/smooth tone settings, which helps the pedals work with a broad range of rigs. In addition to gain, tone and volume knobs, there’s even a manually-adjustable noise gate which can be cranked to stop notes hard and fast. This gate only affects your distorted tone and automatically goes away when the pedal is bypassed.

All of the pedals use true bypass switching, operate from 9 to 18VDC with varying dynamics, and have battery access with no tools required.
