All Star Jam Announced for Dio Cancer Fund's Awards Gala-

The second Awards Gala in the name of the late RonnieJames Dio has been announced and is set to take place onHalloween night (31st Oct) at the Avalon in Hollywood,California.

The Ronnie James Dio Stand Up and Shout CancerFund has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars forcancer research since the untimely passing of the metal legend. 

Performing at the ceremony will be the DioDisciples, which currently includes ex-Dio membersCraig Goldy (guitar), Simon Wright (drums) andScott Warren (keys) along with vocalists Tim 'Ripper'Owens, Oni Logan and bassist BjonEnglen.

There will also be an all-star jam session featuring JoeyVera (Armored Saint), Billy Morrison (Billy Idol),Glenn Hughes (Black Country Communion), FrankieBanali (Quiet Riot), Stephen Pearcy (Ratt), JoeyBelladonna (Anthrax), Michael Sweet and OzFox (Stryper,) David 'Rock' Feinstein and members ofBuckcherry.

The performance troupe Cirque Berzerk will also perform at theGala, and U.S broadcaster Eddie Trunk of VH1 Classic's 'That MetalShow' will serve as emcee.

General admission tickets start at $200 and are available at theorganization's officialsite.
