'All Is By My Side' Set to Debut at Toronto International Film Festival -

The Jimi Hendrix film 'All Is By My Side' is set to debut at the Toronto International Film Festival this September, producers have confirmed (via Classic Rock).

The much anticipated movie biopic stars Outkast's Andre 3000 as Hendrix and will detail the guitar legend's early story from being discovered by Keith Richard's girlfriend, Linda Keith,to meeting and signing with manager Chas Chandler to recording his debut album, 'Are You Experienced.'

All is By My Side has been written and directed by John Ridley, who also penned Three Kings and U-Turn. The movie was shot in Ireland last year and nearly never got off the ground after enduring a difficult pre-production phase, with Hendrix's sister and heir to his estate Janie insisting it couldn't be made without her permission - and that she wouldn't give it.

The date the film will premier is yet to be announced however reports suggest that it will be confirmed next month.
